Pallett: 'Gardiner feud was just panto'

Roxanne Pallett has claimed that her feud with Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner was all for show.

The former Emmerdale actress insisted that Gardiner was positive about her performances backstage at the ITV1 skating programme, despite slating her live on air.

She told Take 5 magazine: "It was like a panto. You've got your camp dame in Jason, your wicked witch in Ruthie [Henshall] - but they're all in character.

"Jason winked at me off camera and said, 'That was fabulous, darling'. People forget it's showbusiness."

Pallett had reportedly called for Gardiner to be sacked after being eliminated from the contest earlier this year.

The choreographer later hit back by describing Pallett as "ungracious" and "a really silly little girl".
