Heather Mills is to be the highest-paid celebrity on the next series of Dancing On Ice, according to a report.

The former model has landed a six-figure fee following negotiations with the ITV1 skating show's producers, the Daily Mail claims.

A source said: "Heather has been looking to launch her UK TV career - and is delighted to have negotiated the biggest fee of all the contestants."

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife was first tipped to compete on the 2010 series last month. Insiders said that she felt "convinced" she would be a "huge attraction" on the programme.

Mills had previously been named as a potential contestant for the 2008 run, but her rumoured appearance failed to materialise.
