The ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney is rumoured to be in training for the fifth series of the ITV1 skating show, which is expected to air from January.
William Hill has now announced that it is offering odds of 3/1 that Mills will be the first celebrity to be voted off the programme.
Spokesman Rupert Adams commented: "Heather did well in the American version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, but she would be unlikely to win a popularity contest in the UK and we don't expect her to last long."
Mills was tipped to appear on the contest last month and has reportedly secured the best fee of all the celebrity contestants.
Earlier this week, the former model fuelled rumours linking her to the show when she was spotted training at an ice rink.
