7 million see Danny Young exit 'DOI'

Dancing On Ice continued to perform well for ITV1 last night, early viewing figures show.

The first show, which aired between 7.15pm and 8.30pm, logged 7.73m (30.2%). The results show, which saw Danny Young voted off, followed at 9.30pm with 6.99m (27.7%).

The series finale of Wild At Heart aired between the two Ice shows, drawing 6.53m (24.6%).

Lark Rise To Candleford drew 5.58m (20.6%) for BBC One at 8pm, then the audience dropped to 3.72m (14.6%) during the 9pm screening of Seven Ages Of Britain.

BBC Two's Tropic Of Cancer had 2.39m (8.8%) during the 8pm hour, then 2.74m (10.8%) watched Wonders Of The Solar System at 9pm.

Celebrity Come Dine With Me took 2.92m (10.8%) for Channel 4 at 8pm, then Snakes On A Plane averaged 1.36m (6.3%) between 9pm and 11pm.

Five's movie double bill kicked off with Joe Kidd, which put in 1.07m (4%) at 8.15pm, then Revolver averaged 1.04m (8%) between 10pm and 12.15am.

Overall, ITV1 dominated primetime with an average share of 24.3% to BBC One's 18.3%. BBC Two was third with 9.8%, followed by Channel 4 with 6.9% (+1: 1.1%) and Five's 5.2%.

Elsewhere, new episodes of 24 and House put in 581k (2.3%) and 414k (2.3%) for Sky1 at 9pm and 10pm respectively.
