The Iraq War hero was apparently changing his socks during training when he accidentally dropped his ice skate, causing the blade to land on the bone of his left index finger.
Beharry - who spent hours in accident and emergency following the incident - now faces a recovery period of eight weeks. According to The Sun, doctors on the ITV1 show have banned him from performing any difficult lifts or potentially dangerous moves for a month.
An insider said: "Johnson has already overcome so much to be on the show, but this could be the end of him. However, he is determined that the show must go on. There's no way he'll let a broken finger get in his way."
Producers are said to be considering whether or not to allow the 31-year-old to take part in this weekend's group performance. Beharry is not due to skate again for the judges until January 23.
