The 23-year-old, who finished third during the Dancing On Ice final last night, is in talks with bosses about joining the programme as a showbiz reporter, The Sun alleges.
Madeley, whose parents Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan launched and presented the show from 1988 to 2001, is said to have become friendly with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby during her time on the ice-skating competition.
"Everyone is impressed by her natural easy manner and likeability," a source told the paper. "Her parents might be two big names but Chloe is incredibly humble, which has endeared her to a lot of important people at ITV."
Madeley previously appeared on her parents' digital show and has been a guest presenter on both Live From Studio Five and Big Brother's Big Mouth.
"[Madeley and Finnigan] are incredibly supportive of Chloe's career and would be proud to see her on their old show. They could become the first TV presenting dynasty," the insider said.
On the possibility of Madeley filling in for pregnant Willoughby, who is due to go on maternity leave shortly, the source said: "It's early days but you could see a third Madeley on the sofa."
