Schofield confessed that he was shocked when he Googled the German figure skater, who posed for the men's magazine in 1998.
"I have Googled her Playboy pics... good lord, that's a turn up for the books!" the Dancing on Ice host told The Sun's TV Buzz.
Witt and Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence have joined the ITV1 reality show's judging panel this year as replacements for Jason Gardiner and Emma Bunton.
Commenting on the arrival of Spence, Schofield said: "How long will it be before he does the splits on top of the desk? Now that would be great TV!"
Dancing on Ice launches on Sunday (January 8) at 6.30pm on ITV1.
