The Stand By Me star, who was eliminated from Dancing on Ice at the weekend, said that the BBC One ballroom reality show wouldn't be a challenge because he is already an accomplished dancer.
"That wouldn't be a challenge and it wouldn't really be fair to the other contestants, do you know what I mean?" Feldman told This Morning.
"I felt that [Dancing on Ice] was appropriate because I was challenging myself, it was pushing me to do something that I had never done. I was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I don't regret doing that because you have to take risks in life."
Feldman admitted that Dancing on Ice had been a bigger test than he expected, adding: "I don't know if I would do it again - if I would put myself through that again - but honestly if I could go back to zero and start afresh, I probably wouldn't have taken the commitment with knowing that I had other things in my schedule.
"I mean the fact that Jorgie [Porter] is pulling off what she's pulling off - well it's amazing, she's literally running on fumes."
The actor also played down reports of a feud between himself and pro partner Brooke Castile, describing the ice skater as "incredible". "I'm graced in her presence to be honest," he said.
