Anderson and professional partner Matt Evers have been steadily rehearsing for the show for several weeks.
The actress previously admitted that she could barely stand when she first began training with Evers.
Anderson told Closer magazine: "Ice skating is all new to me and the rehearsals have been really tough. My skating partner, Matt Evers, is great.
"Our chemistry is really good and he's been so patient. I love the choreography and the lifts, but everything is so difficult - I've got bruises everywhere."
The 45-year-old star joins fellow celebs Oona King, Anthea Turner, and Samia Ghadie among others on the upcoming series.
Dancing on Ice premieres on Sunday (January 6) on ITV1.
