DJ Jason King told Virgin Radio: “I haven’t seen her over the last couple of months."
He then jokingly accused her professional skating partner Matt Evers of "blatantly having an affair with her”.
Evers explained that Shaw had been undertaking intensive training in preparation for the ITV1 ice-dance contest, saying: “She tends to work harder than I do. She definitely does. When I’m ready to go home she kicks me up the a** and tells me to keep going.”
King - who DJs under the name JK - has been dating the former Hear'Say star for two years.
She recently admitted that she is worried about the coverage that her TV comeback will receive.
Dancing On Ice continues at 5.50pm on Sunday on ITV1.
