Mumba found herself in the bottom two last weekend after failing to pick up votes from the public, and judge Jason is equally unimpressed with her performance on the show.
"[She's] a big disappointment," Gardiner told The Mirror. "On the ice she's like a gangly stick insect. But it's her birthday today so I'll be kind."
Gardiner also hit out at Natalie Pinkham, warning that she will have to try harder to connect to the audience tomorrow night.
"I'm indifferent to her performance and that's the worst thing you can be," he said. "I want to feel something watching her."
Dancing On Ice continues tomorrow night at 5.50pm on ITV1.
