Suzanne Shaw crashes to ice in rehearsals
Published Sunday, Jan 20 2008, 10:46 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly
Suzanne Shaw took a tumble in last-minute rehearsals for Dancing On Ice yesterday.
The former Hear'say singer crashed on to the ice when she was practising a routine with her dance partner Matt Evers, falling face first. To make matters worse, Matt then fell over himself and his skate blade hit her head.
"It all happened so fast. Their dance move involved Suzanne being carried round by Matt with her face inches from the ice," an onlooker told the Sunday Mirror.
"So the second they lost their footing she smashed into the ground. But it was Matt's skate coming down on top of her that did the damage. Suzanne was shaken up and in pain but she put on a brave face."
After being treated by paramedics, Shaw vowed to continue perfecting her routine in time for tonight's show, which airs on ITV1 at 5.50pm.
