According to The Sun, Karen Barber, Jason Gardiner, Robin Cousins and Ruthie Henshall turned on Nicky Slater for giving Suzanne Shaw a low score after her routine.
A source said: "Four of them gave Suzanne really high marks, but Nicky gave four out of six.
"They were talking quite heatedly and when it cut to a commercial break it all kicked off. Karen was shouting at Nicky, Nicky was shouting. Jason got involved."
The studio audience was reportedly stunned by the outburst, which resulted in the judges being separated and placed in different rooms to calm down.
Shaw and professional skater Matt Evers scored 23.5 points for their interpretation of Dionne Warwick's 'Walk On By', finishing second behind Chris Fountain and partner Frankie Poultney.
Javelin-thrower Steve Backley became the latest celebrity to be voted off the ITV1 skating contest last night.
