Gardiner concerned over 'Ice' voting

Gardiner concerned over 'Ice' voting
Jason Gardiner has warned that the Dancing on Ice final should not be a "popularity contest".

The show's judge has admitted that he is worried viewers will vote for their favourite contestant, rather than basing their decision on who has been most impressive on the ice.

Chris Fountain, Suzanne Shaw and Zaraah Abrahams will compete against each other in the final episode tomorrow night.

"It's almost too close to call. I think it's between Chris and Suzanne," Jason told The Mirror. "I just hope the viewers don't turn this into a popularity contest and really think about how far each contestant has come. This is the strongest final we've ever had."

Dancing on Ice: The Final Skate-Off airs tomorrow at 7pm on ITV1.
