Sunday slot a success for 'Dancing' final

The turnout, a 44% share of the audience, was comfortably above the 9.6m of last year's final. Dancing was moved to Sunday night as part of a schedule shake-up this year and ratings through the series appear to vindicate the changes.
ITV1's competitors were left far behind during the 7-9pm Dancing show. The first episode of BBC One's The Passion drama, at 8pm, drew just 4.1m (15%).
Earlier, charity special Antiques Roadshow Sport Relief attracted 5.3m (23%) from 6.30-7.30pm. Then an EastEnders, moved because of other Sport Relief shows, reached 5.5m (21%).
ITV1 continued to dominate at 9pm when 8m (35%) watched the last instalment of the current series of drama Lewis. BBC One was well behind with The Last Enemy, attracting 2m (8%).
On BBC Two at 9pm Around the World in 80 Gardens drew 1.9m (7%) while Willie's Wonky Chocolate Factory, on Channel 4, reached 1.5m (6%) during the 9pm hour.
