Published Friday, Aug 15 2003, 07:17 BST | By Neil Wilkes
A kidney infection has forced Girls Aloud's Cheryl Tweedy to spend a night in hospital, according to The Sun today.
The singer was kept in overnight by doctors at a North London hospital before being driven back to her home in Newcastle the next day.
Her illness means Cheryl has had to pull out of a string of promotional appearances for the group's new single, 'Life Got Cold', which comes out Monday.
