Louis ups the ante for Pete
Published Friday, Oct 11 2002, 10:17 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Louis is hoping to dominate the charts this Christmas, by entering two bands for the prestigious number one spot.

As well as his as-yet unformed girl group, his biggest act to date -- Irish boyband Westlife -- will also be hoping to top the charts.
Both the girl group and Pete's boy band -- sorry, "vocal harmony group" -- will release rival singles on December 16, the same day Westlife release "Miss You Nights", a Cliff Richard cover.
An insider told The Sun today: "Louis’s ideal result would be a No1 with the Popstars girls and a No2 with Westlife. That would really p*** Pete off."
Pete need not worry too much, however -- Westlife's last single, "Bop Bop Baby", only made it to number five.
