The bosses of Popstars want Kimberley to be ousted from the show because they perceive her to be a troublemaker, The Sun reports today.
"The bods from Polydor have been down here every week keeping an eye on who is coming and going," a source told the newspaper. "They are getting very panicky indeed about the final line-up. Let’s not forget they still have Hear'Say’s blood on their hands because of all the rows between Myleene Klass and Kym Marsh. Polydor are determined to avoid a repeat performance.
"They are well aware the knives will be out for the band and want the final five to be a solid unit. It could be great or it could be bad. Kimberley is proving a bit of a nightmare with stylists, make-up and anyone who comes near her.
"She has been dubbed a little J-LO already — and she’s not even in the band yet. Kimberley’s a very headstrong, career-driven girl and the execs see her as a potential troublemaker who will attract bad publicity."
Digital Spy verdict: The story appeared in Dominic Mohan's Bizarre column, a journalist who isn't particularly well-known for his reporting accuracies.
