Sugababes criticise Cole over 'X Factor'

The Sugababes do not believe that Cheryl Cole is the right choice for the X Factor judging panel.

Cole was named as Sharon Osbourne's replacement on the ITV reality show last week, but the band said the role should have gone to someone more experienced.

Keisha Buchanan told The Mirror: "Actually, I would have preferred Boy George. He has got so much more experience, and so many more years behind him. I think he would have been much better as the judge."

Amelle Berrabah backed up her bandmate's opinion, saying: "Yeah, Boy George has generations more on her. Not that Cheryl hasn't got any experience, but someone who has been going for as long as he has should have been given a chance."
