'X Factor' Alan 'never in jeopardy'

Tabloid reports about the aspiring singer claimed that he lied about not knowing his real family at the show's auditions.
The call centre worker said on last Saturday's episode that he "always wanted to get to know his real family". He also revealed that he was put in foster care aged four.
However, his father Alan Snr. insisted that his son grew up with his grandmother.
He told the BBC that he saw his offspring four years ago and alleged that they spoke on the phone regularly until 2007.
Commenting on his son's behaviour, Alan Snr. said: "When he came out with a statement that he was put into foster care at the age of four, he didn't know who we were, I just found the whole thing absolutely bizarre.
"I just didn't know where the lad was coming from. We always kept in touch."
However, a spokesperson for the programme denied that Turner would lose his place, saying: "Alan categorically denies that he has made up any story regarding his upbringing and refutes the claims which have been made.
"Alan has at no point apologised to producers and his position in the show has never been in jeopardy.
"Unfortunately in telling what is a very complicated story about Alan's family life, some confusion and doubt has been raised about Alan's relationship with his biological parents, which is unfortunate."
