'X Factor's Avenue aiming for top 20
Published Sunday, Sep 14 2008, 12:24 BST | By Nick Levine and Neil Wilkes
X Factor boyband Avenue have revealed they are aiming to crack the top 20 with their first single.
The pop five-piece were disqualified from the ITV1 singing contest in 2006 after it emerged that they already had a management deal.
However, they have since landed a record contract and release their debut single, 'Last Goodbye', on September 22.
"We'll be happy with top 20," group member Jonny Lloyd told DS. "The first single is all about getting Avenue's name out there and getting people aware of who we are. Then, second single we're gonna shoot right up there."
