Lisa Milburn initially did not meet the criteria to make it to boot camp after receiving two 'yes' votes and two 'no' votes from the judges. However, she begged Simon Cowell for another chance and was allowed through to the next stage of the competition.
The Scottish call centre worker told the panel that she had lost 18 stone in preparation for her audition.
Speaking to The Scotsman, Milburn hinted that she is now looking for a man to appreciate her new form.
"I'm not 100% confident with guys - if one starts to talk to me, it doesn't really click that they might be chatting me up. I'll get there eventually - but right now I'm still learning to live as a different person," she said.
