The group perform Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' on Saturday night's episode, with Walsh previously comparing them to "one of the early Motown groups".
However, Cowell has a different view of the four-piece, saying: "I didn't hear one great vocal throughout the performance, you sound good as a group but it wasn't up to scratch on a worldwide level."
The first boot camp show airs this Saturday on ITV1 at 7.45pm. The second part follows on Sunday at 7pm.
