The judge, who has been assigned the over-25s category in the singing contest, was recently reported to be furious that the Girls Aloud star is receiving more airtime.
However, she has issued a statement claiming that viewers who watch The Xtra Factor, which airs on ITV2 after The X Factor, can see how close the judges are.
She added: "I'm not jealous. I'm not furious. There are no pre-live show crisis talks and there are no ultimatums... I love being a part of The X Factor and we [the judges] are all having so much fun this year."
Minogue was the most successful judge in last year's contest. The singer mentored the boys category and saw two of her protégés Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts battle it out in the final.
