The 16-year-old aspiring singer has made it through to the third live show after being backed by the public for two consecutive weeks. His father Chris Quigg has now promised that Eoghan is capable of much more - and hopes he will have a chance to prove it.
"We haven't seen the best of Eoghan yet, he can really hit some notes and doesn't have to force his voice at all," Chris told the Belfast Telegraph. "It's a natural talent and although he's done well with the last two songs, there's still more in there."
"He's doing a Big Band number this week, but I don't want to give too much away," he added. "I just hope he stays in longer so everyone can hear him at his best."
The X Factor airs at 7.45pm tonight on ITV1.
