Louis Walsh mocks 'vain' Cowell

Louis Walsh has mocked Simon Cowell for displaying vanity on the set of The X Factor.

The Irish judge claimed that Cowell likes nothing better than admiring himself in his dressing room when the cameras stop rolling.

"He demands mirrors and we drink tea and he looks in them," Walsh explained. "There are mirrors everywhere in his dressing room, seriously, all over the place."

Walsh also revealed that the music mogul "takes longer than everyone else to get ready".

Asked about his own grooming habits, he revealed: "It takes me 10 minutes to get ready for a show, I hate all that pan stick stuff. Simon has tried to get me spray-tanned a few times, but I refuse."

Cowell lost his first X Factor act at the weekend after Daniel Evans triumphed over Scott Bruton in the sing-off.
