Cowell lends private jet to Quigg

X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg is reportedly borrowing Simon Cowell's private jet so that he can fly home to meet his new little sister.

The 16-year-old was upset that he could not get home to Ireland to see his mum Denise and baby sister Chrissie-Mia, reports the Daily Mail. Mentor Cowell is said to have stepped in and allowed Quigg to use his plane for a quick jaunt home to meet his new sibling.

A source said: "It will be a flying visit, as Eoghan is in the middle of rehearsals for this Saturday's show, but he is over the moon. Simon called him up personally with the surprise and that set poor Eoghan off again, but this time they were tears of joy."

Quigg's performance of Mariah Carey's 'Anytime You Need A Friend' on Saturday's show was praised by all four judges, with Dannii Minogue describing his voice as "magic".
