Laura White: 'I'm happy with curves'

X Factor finalist Laura White has said that she is happy with her fuller figure.

White, whose image was criticised by Simon Cowell on the singing contest, claimed that she found it difficult to deal with the focus on her size.

"I'm a 21-year-old girl, and being told there's a problem with my appearance in front of 12 million viewers was horrible," she told Closer.

"No one ever directly mentioned my weight, but it did make me worry a bit. I'm healthy and normal. I'll always have big boobs and curves, and I'm fine with that!"

The singer also claimed that rumours about her mentor Cheryl Cole having weight problems and sticking to strict diets were false.

"She was always dropping treats off at the house for us, like doughnuts," she said. "Everyone speculates about Cheryl and her diets, but I've seen her eating crisps and pizza. She doesn't hold back.

"She's absolutely tiny, so she must just be lucky with her metabolism."
