Leaders on both sides of the sectarian divide picked the 16-year-old as their favourite contestant. Democrat Unionist leader Peter Robinson and Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness called on the country to unite and support Quigg in Saturday's final.
Quigg is from Dungiven in Londonderry.
"It is not often you would find the first minister and me canvassing for the same candidate but Eoghan deserves the support of us all in his continued bid for stardom," said McGuinness.
Robinson said: "I wish him all the best and would encourage everyone here to lift their phones and vote for him."
