Vickers: "I love Eoghan to bits"

Diana Vickers has revealed her true feelings for Eoghan Quigg, admitting that she "loves him to bits".

The X Factor contestants sparked rumours of a romance earlier this month when they were spotted on a cinema date, and Simon Cowell later appeared to confirm the speculation when he described the couple as "two kids in love".

However, Vickers, who reportedly ditched her boyfriend Chris Jones to hook up with Quigg, told Heat that although she adores the Irish singer, romance is not on the cards.

"Right now I'm not going to think about anything like that," she said. "I'm going to make sure I spend some time with Chris at Christmas, and who's to say what's going to happen in the future?

"I can't wait to see Eoghan more... I dunno what's going to happen."

"There's a difference between loving each other and being in love," she added. "I love him to bits."

Quigg told the magazine that meeting Vickers was the "best experience" of his life.

"She's a really lovely girl and we have a strong bond together," he said. "We'll just have to wait and see what happens."
