Minogue could quit 'X Factor' for lover

Dannii Minogue's future with The X Factor has been thrown into question yet again following comments made by her boyfriend Kris Smith.

The former rugby player has landed a six-month modelling contract in Minogue's home city of Melbourne and wants the star to remain by his side rather than working in the UK.

Speaking to the Sunday Herald Sun, Smith confirmed: "We're still not sure what Dannii is doing in terms of X Factor."

The couple will soon visit Britain for a holiday before Smith jets back off to Australia to begin his new commitments in July.

He added: "I would love it if [Dannii] could come back with me and she would love it too."

Minogue was said to be unsure over a possible return to X Factor just days ago. However, it was later claimed that she had "no intention" of leaving the programme.
