Cole 'panics' over slim Minogue snaps

Cheryl Cole has purchased a £36,000 exercise machine after pictures of her X Factor co-star Dannii Minogue left her feeling "panicked", a report claims.

According to the News Of The World, the Girls Aloud star was shocked when she saw snaps of Minogue's slim figure recently and immediately decided to buy a HypoxiTrainer S120 machine, which allows users to cycle in a wind tunnel while vacuum clothing stimulates their blood flow.

Cole and Minogue are both expected to return to the ITV1 talent show when filming begins next month, despite reports that producers were planning to change the judging lineup.

A source told the newspaper: "Cheryl knows she's not fat but she's paranoid about sitting next to Dannii on TV. She's seen photos of Dannii looking very slender and it's made her even more nervous. She thinks this will give her the quick fix she needs before X Factor starts."

The singer has also reportedly become focused on improving her skin before she launches an assault on the US TV market.

The insider added: "The equipment also helps smooth skin and improve elasticity, so she sees it as part of her campaign to make it in the States. She's been advised by Simon Cowell's team to improve her complexion - as US TV is all shot in high definition."

Cole denied rumours of a feud with Minogue after joining The X Factor last summer.
