'X Factor' contestants to re-audition

Producers recently announced that they had changed the format of this year's show to incorporate live audiences at the audition stage, mimicking the style of fellow ITV1 reality show Britain's Got Talent.
However, a series of auditions in Glasgow have already taken place without an audience. An X Factor spokesperson has confirmed that the hopefuls who were successful in Scotland may have to return for the live shows.
"We are still fine tuning our plans, but we aim to be back up in Scotland at the end of the month," they told The Sun.
"We are working out how we are going to do it, but it does look like everyone who auditioned will come and audition again."
The new show format is intended to make the ITV1 singing contest "bigger and better than ever".
Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh will all return as judges for the new series, which will air in the autumn.
