'X Factor' to 'change title shots'

Tabloid reports have claimed that the new X Factor title shots will include the judges on speedboats.

According to the Daily Star, the sequence will include Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh "whizzing in powerboats" across the Thames.

The concept was apparently inspired by Simon Cowell's fascination with James Bond.

"In the past we've always had footage of the judges flying in on helicopters or arriving in limos," said a source.

"This year Simon wanted something fast and racy and so he chose to go all 007 and have everyone on speedboats."

The X Factor returns to ITV1 in August.
