Verity looking for love

The X Factor's Verity Keays, who was eliminated from the show on last week's live showdown, has admitted that she is looking for love.

Verity, who divorced from her husband, has expressed a wish to have a fairytale wedding.

She told The Mirror, "I didn't have a big white wedding, because we just nipped into a register office in our jeans. But I would love to wear a fabulous dress and have a fairytale day which I'll always remember.

"I was in a bridal shop recently with my sister because my nephew was getting married, and the gowns on display were absolutely beautiful.

"I asked the assistant whether older ladies still buy these designs and she said: 'Yes, they're very popular.' So I don't see why I can't have my dream wedding second time around."

Verity has also complained about how the rivalry between the judges is ruining the chances of the show's contestants.

She added, "I think there is a lot of feuding and point-scoring going on behind the scenes. And Louis has openly admitted he is going to vote against Simon's acts.

"Sharon couldn't meet my eye when she voted me off. It's a shame, because for the contestants there is so much at stake."
