Contestants on The X Factor are battling for a record contract, but it seems that they're also battling for each other.
The News of the World today claims that Steve Brookstein has been trying his chances with Cassie Compton, while Voices With Soul's Hildia Campbell has her eye on G4's Mike Christie.
Meanwhile, Rowetta Satchell, Emma Paine and Corene Campbell have all shown an interest in heart-throb Jonathan Ansell, who also sings in G4.
An insider told the newspaper, "It's more like a dating show than a singing contest. There's so much flirting going on. They're all really upfront about who they have their eye on.
"Some of them have been completely distracted by each other. And poor Jonathan - he doesn't know what to do!"
Emma Paine left the show last night, as part of singing duo Two To Go, while Corene is a member of Voices With Soul, who narrowly escaped elimination.
It seems that Rowetta has made her liking for Jonathan very obvious. The source added, "When she's around no one else gets a look in. She thinks he's an amazing person and loves his style.
"They are both very passionate about music too and that's why they have clicked. Jon's very shy, but he seems to enjoy the attention she gives him."
