The group, who were runners-up on last year's series, topped the charts with their debut single 'Beat Again' over two consecutive weeks last month.
Cowell chose not to recruit the group for his SyCo record label earlier this year after reportedly deciding that only show winner Alexandra Burke would be offered a contract. The boys were later snapped up by Epic.
Bandmember Aston Merrygold told the Daily Star: "We're still waiting for Simon to call and congratulate us on our success but we'll be performing at the live shows on the next series."

Merrygold recently admitted that he is not interested in maintaining a "clean-cut" image.
