'X Factor's Kandy Rain 'met at strip club'

X Factor girl group Kandy Rain met while working for a chain of London strip clubs, it has been claimed.

According to The Sun, the 2009 contestants worked for the Secrets franchise at bars in Euston and Hammersmith before auditioning for the reality talent show.

A source said: "All four girls met while working as strippers in Secrets. They want pop careers and have been saving up their tips for singing lessons and costumes.

"They love practising their dance routines at the lap-dancing bars, it gives them a space to learn their moves. They are all really sexy girls and stripping keeps them fit. They're all good pole dancers and very open-minded."

An X Factor spokesman told the newspaper: "The girls no longer work as lapdancers now they're in the show."

Kandy Rain, made up of Azi Jegbefume, 25, Khatereh Dovani, 24, Chemmane Applewhaite, 27, and Coco Lloyd, 22, previously revealed that they had reached the boot camp phase of this year's show.

Lloyd, whose real name is Vicky, has also posed for Playboy and told the publication that she was bisexual and "very comfortable with being around sexy women".
