Police to quiz 'X Factor' contestants
Published Sunday, Nov 28 2004, 09:22 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly
The X Factor contestants are to be quizzed by police as part of an investigation into the £2m jewels raid at the Osbournes' home.
Tabby Callaghan, Cassie Compton and Roberta Howett, who made up Sharon Osbourne's '16 to 24 solo' finalists, stayed at the mansion for two weeks before the live shows began. Although none are considered suspects, they will be questioned by police, along with the camera crew that filmed footage at the house.
A police source told the Sunday Mirror, "We are looking at talking to as many people as we can about the raid. It has all the hallmarks of an inside job and anyone with knowledge of the house and the Osbournes' habits may well be able to help our inquiries.
"Detectives are planning to talk to all of those involved with X Factor who spent time at the house, along with housekeepers and estate workers."
