White: 'I'm not like other X Factor stars'

The singer was eliminated from the reality talent programme in week five of last year's live shows, resulting in accusations of "tactical" voting by judge Louis Walsh.
White told the BBC: "I have done it completely different. In a way this is why I don't associate myself with a normal X Factor contestant just because I literally was the only one that didn't sign a massive major deal.
"I went to a smaller independent label. I've signed to the label which [songwriter] Ian Green is with."
She continued: "In that sense I have to work a lot harder to speak to my fans more and I have to work harder in general because I don't have a massive major label pushing me."
When asked if she will watch the upcoming series of The X Factor, she added: "I will. I always say to everybody it is the most amazing show on TV. When I was on it I felt so blessed because it can literally change somebody's life so much."
