On Saturday night, viewers saw the 19-year-old being rejected by the ITV1 show's judging panel for a third consecutive year.
Chawner had auditioned with her sister Samantha, 21, in a bid to boost her chances of success, but music mogul Simon Cowell claimed that she was "twice as bad" as before.
Reflecting on her latest setback, the teen told The Mirror: "It's only a matter of time before I make it big. Being a singer would be my ideal job. I just want to sing and be famous. I think I will make it as a singer especially if I have a couple of singing lessons.
"I don't know who I'd compare my voice to, especially as all the nasty people on X Factor say I sound horrible. But I'd say there's a bit of Whitney Houston in Samantha's voice."
She added: "If anything, we were twice as good as before. It's hurtful when Simon's so mean. I'm always being stopped in the street by my fans."
The X Factor's new series launched with 9.9 million viewers at the weekend.
