'X Factor' Steve wants a Woolies no.1
Published Tuesday, Dec 7 2004, 13:27 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
X Factor finalist Steve Brookstein has spoken of his dreams to top the album charts.
"I want to walk into Woolworths and see loads of copies of my album in the No.1 slot," the singer declared to the TV Times this week.
Brookstein will battle it out with Louis Walsh's G4 in the final of the talent contest this weekend.
Unlike his rivals, he has never appeared in the bottom two of the viewers' votes - but he says he isn't complacent. "Never appearing in the bottom two does make me feel more confident, but at the same time I know how quickly it could all change."
