G4 get 'X Factor' grey vote

Brian Ansell, 53, told The Mirror that he knew of people in their nineties picking up their telephones or whipping out their mobiles to vote for the four-piece.
"I've heard of a 97-year-old lady voting for G4 and I've heard of lots of folk in their 70s, 80s and 90s watching this show who normally wouldn't," said Ansell, an adult education manager. "What G4 have is this huge, broad appeal. They don't fit any of the pigeonholes that people keep trying to put them into."
The group, mentored by Louis Walsh, face off against Steve Brookstein this Saturday.
