Osbourne apologises for 'X Factor' rant

Sharon Osbourne has apologised for branding X Factor winner Steve Brookstein "fake" and "full of crap" at the show's final.

Osbourne let her true feelings about Steve emerge while the show was live on air, prompting hundreds to phone up and complain about her.

She told The Sun, "I realised it was unfair as millions voted for him. Simon was furious afterwards. But I’d love to do another series if he'll have me and the money's right."

However, Cowell has admitted that he isn't sure whether he wants Sharon back on the show.

He explained, "She really annoyed me. I don’t know if she'll come back for another series. I have other judges in mind."
