'X Factor' Amie worked as lapdancer

X Factor hopeful Amie Buck used to work as a lapdancer, claim tabloid reports.

The 22-year-old singer, who was joined by Cheryl Cole for a duet of 'I'll Stand By You' at the auditions round, apparently didn't tell producers about her job at Newcastle's Blue Velvet club.

According to The Sun, Buck used to earn £500-a-night and spent her earnings on increasing her breast size to DD.

"Some girls can make up to £1,000 a week. Amie tends to just work weekends. But she is one of the more popular girls," said a source.

"She is really good at it and is a big hit with the blokes because she is so pretty - and has a great figure. It means she makes quite a bit of money - enough to pay for her boob job."

Buck, who introduced herself on the ITV1 show as a personal trainer, apparently also competed in this year's Miss Newcastle contest.
