John & Edward 'know they can't sing'

X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes know that they "can't sing that well", it has been claimed.

Now reported that the Dubliners' apparent cockiness may not be genuine.

A source told the magazine: "It's all bravado. They are deeply insecure and actually can't sing that well.

"They've even asked other contestants for mini crash-course lessons in harmonising and how to hit the right notes. They can't believe they've got this far."

However, the 17-year-olds are apparently embracing the fact that they are being portrayed as the bad guys by the media.

"They don't mind being called villains, as they know it means they stand out from the crowd," the source claimed.

In tonight's show, the twins will be seen breaking down in tears amid fears that they have not done enough to impress Louis Walsh and guest judge Ronan Keating.
