Viewers saw the Aussie singer picking Lucie Jones, Stacey Solomon and Rachel Adedeji as the final three contestants for her Girls' category in last night's episode. She had recruited sister Kylie to help her make the choices in Dubai.
Simon Cowell's act Danyl Johnson has been tipped as a favourite to win the competition after the music mogul described his first audition as the best he had ever seen. His other Over-25 contestants Jamie Afro and Olly Murs have also been praised throughout the early stages.
Reflecting on her chances, Minogue told the Daily Star: "Simon is getting ready to win before the live shows have even begun, but Kylie and I have put together the star team."
The popstar guided Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts to the final two positions in her first series two years ago. However, she failed to have an act in the semi-final last year.
The X Factor continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
