The 2007 American Idol star told You Call The Hits on The Hits Radio that she also wants to collaborate with past winner Leona Lewis.
Of a possible appearance on this year's show, Sparks stated: "We've been talking about it. I don't know if it's confirmed yet, so if I am it'll be just as a surprise to you as it is to me.
"But I'm hoping - I'm trying to make that happen because I want to."
On Lewis, she added: "I've met her a few times, she's so sweet. For the past year I've been wanting to do something with her, so hopefully we'll be able to make that happen soon.
"I was thinking about a female duet like the Whitney and Mariah thing, but definitely in our own way and our type of music. I would just love to do something like that.
"I don't know if it's going to happen now or maybe in a couple of years. I know she's just finished up her second album which I'm really excited to go grab, so we'll see what happens."
