The former contestant told BBC Breakfast that she thanks the show for getting her the lead role in the West End revival of Jim Cartwright's Rise and Fall of Little Voice.
Vickers said: "I've got a record deal, my album's out early next year and this play, and it's more than I could ever want. It's such a great platform, it's absolutely fantastic.
"Jim Cartwright saw me on the show for this role, he came to watch me in the X Factor tour and it's the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I'm only 18 and so far, so good, so amazing."
Of this year's singers, she added: "I really love Olly [Murs], I think he's great. The twins [John and Edward] - they crack me up, seriously, I think it's great. But Olly. I think everyone's really good this year, though."
