The X Factor contestant, who was eliminated from the show at the weekend, told This Morning that she has no regrets about her time on the programme.
Adedeji said: "I always tell myself before I perform that I'm just going to give it my all and have fun with it and every performance I give I told myself I'm going to do it like it's my last performance and I would never change a thing.
"If it's not meant to be it's not meant to be. I've had fun. I'm just going to keep singing - I was born to sing, so any opportunity that comes my way I'm just going to take it."
She added: "Whenever I think about Whitney's kind words about me it just makes me smile - seriously I don't really care what the public think - Whitney knows, man!
"I'm so proud and that just makes me want to continue. I want to be as big as Whitney, so to hear Whitney say things like that is amazing."
